TUNLUB-P, TUNLUB-L : Polymer for Civil Engineering Bentonite

TUNLUB-P

• TUNLUB-P is synthetic Polymer with high performance soluble in the water and supplied as powder. TUNLUB-P makes very sticky liquid which is used for the optional additives in TBM work and EPB machine of open mode, being soluable in the water very fast.

TUNLUB-L

• TUNLUB-L has been especially developed to simplify the mixing procedure and more particularly to cope with situations where TUNLUB-P's characteristics require too much time and equipment to build up.

Specific uses :

• In case of large inflows of water happening during the boring phase, an injection of TUNLUB-L in pure form ahead the cutting wheel, in the working chamber or at the bottom of the screw conveyor will trap the incoming water and turn it into a paste. The mixing of such a lubricating paste with the excavated ground will result in a homegeneous mass that will reduce significantly the incomes of water.
• As TUNLUB-P, TUNLUB-L can be used as an additive to foam. It is a far more convenient product to use than TUNLUB-P since it is a liquid. It can be stored just as it is in a container for an in-line mixing with the foaming agent and the water on the foam generation plant.
